Double Peak Key Co. ("we") is a locksmith business in San Marcos, California. This page explains what information we collect through this website and our phone line, and what we do with it.

Phone calls and texts

Our phone number is a call-tracking number. Calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes. California is a two-party consent state, so you will hear an announcement at the start of every call before any recording begins. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us and we will continue the call unrecorded, or text us instead. Text messages are stored so we can confirm appointments and reply to you.

Booking form

When you use the booking form we receive the name, mobile number, neighborhood, service, door count, preferred time, notes and any photo you attach. We use them only to schedule and perform your job. We do not sell or share them with anyone outside the business except the technician assigned to your job and our invoicing system.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages are useful, and measure clicks on the call and text buttons. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. You can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking protection without affecting the site.

Identity checks on lockouts

For lockouts we ask for photo ID and proof that you live at or are authorized to enter the property. We look at it, note on the invoice that it was checked, and do not keep copies.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your booking or contact details at any time by emailing [email protected]. Invoice records are kept as long as California tax and licensing rules require.
